For sea-divers, it is time to relax and take a sigh of relief as robotic vehicles are ready for replacement and unearth the under water tumults. Creating history, an Iranian pollster that is none other than Abdolali Saberi, made it possible for the first time in the robotic history of the nation, by inventing a robot that is proficient in underwater excavations. The robotic vehicle was first successfully demonstrated when it was sent to the Takht-e Soleiman Lake (Persian Gulf) to explore the parts of the Siraf Port that sank into the water owing to the developments in the landscape.
Of course, the invention did not end in a smoke as the robot scanned an area of 60 meters under the crust of the lake and capture valuable pictures that verify the possible subsistence of a hill under the Lake.
Though, there is nothing much to boost up as lots of inventions has already been done in robotic field in countries like Japan, America, Russia, etc; it is just a beginning of under water robots in Iran and crux is still to follow.
