It is not possible for us to reach every location as some of them make it impossible for us to survive but does that mean that we leave those areas unexplored? And the answer is No...! Then come in to play remote controlled mechanical machines or we can say robots that help us to gather information of such areas.

Some British scientists have developed a Isis ROV that is capable of plunging 6.5km down to explore the mysteries of the Antarctic . This robot is equipped with built-in cameras, lights, sonars for acoustic navigation / imaging, and two remotely controlled manipulator arms to provide useful pictures and videos of the seabed while working on its January mission. The scientists have plans to set the robot for another mission after successful completion of this mission. The robot costs £4.5 million.
