Considering robots as ‘the next evolution of the personal computer’ the giant is planning to tap the growing industry, which expectedly will turn into a whopping multibillion-dollar market in the coming years.
Taking the initiative, the Microsoft Robotics Group previewed it’s first product, the ‘Microsoft Robotics Studio’, designed for hobbyists, students or commercial developers. The software will make things easier for everyone. Microsoft has not yet released the launch date or price of the software, but is offering a free technical preview for download at the company’s Web site.
