Inspired by the android EveR-1, South Korea is expecting robots to serve every household till 2020.
Many Korean companies are already manufacture everything from entertainment robots to droid that can perform the general function home services. Already, networked robots has been put in to 64 South Korean households and two post offices late last year. And this figure may go to ten times at the end of this year.
EveR-1 is most sophisticated android in the networked robots’ line up. Analogous to human being this female android can move the upper half of her body, including arms and hands; however, the lower part is immobile. It is being planed to be placed into the museums as a guide robot, as an educational model to read books and even in department stores to serve people.
